 Abstract
The article focuses on the main types of broadcasting information by mass-media channels in consumer societies. These types vary according to different targets they set that is visual impact in the case of television, interaction and imagination in the case of the Internet, audio information for the radio. All these media channels develop private and public opinion and manipulate information, playing an important part in contemporary consumer's behavior.

 Rezumat
Articolul se concentrează pe principalele tipuri de difuzare a informaţiei prin canalele mass-media în societatea de consum. Aceste tipuri variază în funcţie de obiectivele pe care şi le propun, respectiv impactul vizual în cazul informaţiei televizate, stimularea interacţiunii şi imaginaţiei în cazul Internetului etc. Toate canalele mediatice facilitează dezvoltatea opiniei private şi publice, având un rol important în comportamentul consumatorului contemporan.
