 Abstract
The article focuses on the study of the relation between culture, communication and literature in the consumer society. They cannot be separated from each other and their influence is a mutual one. As a cultural act, literature obviously is, an act of communication. Communication cannot take place without socializing. They are all built on rules, strategies and symbols that make possible their good functioning.

 Rezumat
Articolul îşi propune să urmărească legătura dintre cultură, comunicare şi literatură în societatea de consum. Influenţa lor este reciprocă şi domeniile nu pot fi separate. Ca act cultural literatura este şi un act de comunicare. Comunicarea presupune socializare. Toate aceste domenii sunt construite pe reguli, strategii şi simboluri, care fac posibilă buna lor funcţionare.
