 Abstract
The article aims to analyse the main aspects of Hobbes's political philosophy in his masterwork "Leviathan?, highlighting the key terms of his political thought: the state of nature, the social contract theory and the absolutism of political power.

 Rezumat
Articolul are ca scop să analizeze principalele aspecte ale filosofiei politice a lui Thomas Hobbes în capodopera sa ,, Leviathan?, aducând în atenţie termenii cheie ai gândirii sale politice: starea naturală, teoria contractului social şi absolutismul puterii politice.
