Starting with our 2006 issue, we have gone from an open-reviewing system to a double-blind peer-reviewing one, the only way to ensure the quality of our published material. Therefore, both the identity of the authors of all submitted articles as well as the identity of the reviewers is kept anonymous at all times. The editor will provide reviewers with a PAPER REVIEW FORM which they need to fill in for each article (which is numbered by the editor, the identity of the author being hidden from the reviewer). The main points that the reviewer is invited to comment about are:
PAPER SUBJECT MATTER
"To what extent does the article meet this criterion?"
0 Fails by a large amount
1 Fails by a small amount
2 Succeeds by a small amount
3 Succeeds by a large amount
The subject addressed in this article is worthy of investigation
The information presented is new
The article is original
The author's conclusions are supported by the data
SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT
All research authors (from junior scholars, PhD candidates to affiliated, independent, Romanian or international) can submit articles. Contributors are advised to follow the journal's submission guidelines. Authors are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data provided in their texts. Submission of the manuscript implies that it is not under consideration for a publication elsewhere.
The articles should be sent to Maria Paraschiv by e-mail as attachments to:
mariam.paraschiv (at) gmail.com
The editor is in charge of keeping both the name of the author (authors) and the name of the reviewer anonymous throughout the peer-review process. She is also in charge of asking the authors whose articles were accepted with minor/ major revisions to operate the necessary changes and to re-submit their articles.
The articles which were rejected by the Board of Reviewers are not returned to their authors.
