Dismissal for reasons beyond the employee control can be performed under art. 65 par. (1) of the Labour Code representing individual employment termination due to the abolition of the position held by the employee, for one or more reasons not related to his person. According to par. (2) abolishing a job must be effective and have a real and serious cause. Regarding the manner of dismissal it may be individual or collective, employees dismissed for reasons not related to their person benefiting from active measures to combat unemployment and receiving compensation as provided by law and the applicable collective labor agreement.
