 Abstract
The overload test is the most severe a drilling mast or a service rig mast can be submitted to before putting into operation. In accordance with the actual standard for masts and derricks API 4F, the verification of the mast’s behaviour for such a load is not always mandatory for manufacturers, but, usually, purchasers require it, in order to increase the confidence in their product and to be sure that the mast will respond appropriately to all requests during its work at the borehole. The value of this load is established by the purchaser in accordance with API 4F requirements, taking into account the real conditions in which the mast will work: borehole’s deep, geological or environmental conditions, earthquakes etc. In the present paper there are analysed the results obtained using ANSYS program for a mast of 320 kN submitted to an overload which exceeds with 50% the maximum static hook load.


 Rezumat
Sarcina de probă este una dintre cele mai severe īncărcări la care este supus un mast īnainte de punerea sa īn exploatare. Īn acord cu standardul API 4F, o astfel de verificare nu este īntotdeauna obligatorie pentru producător, dar, īn mod uzual, beneficiarul o cere pentru a fi sigur că mastul va corespunde cerinţelor lucrului la gaura de sondă. Valoarea acestei īncărcări este stabilită de beneficiar īn acord cu API 4F, uānd īn considerare condiţiile reale ca: adāncimea găurii de sondă, condiţiile geologice şi de mediu, cutremure etc. Īn această lucrare este analizată, utilizānd programul de analiză cu element finit ANSYS, comportarea unui mast al unei instalaţii de intervenţie transportabile supus la o īncărcare care depăşeşte cu 50% sarcina maximă la cārlig.
