The Parliament, especially by its constitution, it has a structural value in defining the political regime, especially thanks to its influence as legislative body and considering the control of the governments' action and the involvement of its political responsibility. The affirmation of some or other functions of the Parliament ? or their limitation ? is the immediate result of some historical conditions. The Parliaments attributions were extended and diversified as the affirmation of the democratic ideas grew, a wider acceptance of the principle that parliaments are an expression of the peoples suzerainty exercitation.
